Our passion is craft beer, stories and walks!
Christoffer Hundahl Hansen founded BeerWalks, combining three of his greatest passions: walking, great stories, and quality beer.
BeerWalks officially launched on April 1, 2021, though he developed the idea for the concept the year before, during the first COVID lockdown, when Copenhagen’s streets were empty.
During the restrictions, Christoffer wandered all over Copenhagen, enjoying beers from Mikkeller and several Bornholm breweries, which are still featured in BeerWalks today.
He eventually invited friends to join these unique tours, where they tasted different beers and heard stories about both the breweries and the neighborhoods.
His friends loved the experience.
Today, BeerWalks delights many guests who get to explore and experience the city together in a cozy setting while sharing stories, tasting beers, and meeting new people.
Now, you can join a BeerWalk in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Bornholm and in beautiful Tórshavn, with more cities on the way.
Christoffer is no longer the only guide, as BeerWalks has grown to over 40 guides, each with a unique storytelling style, sharing insights about both the surroundings and the beers.
The list of partner breweries reads like a showcase of the best Danish breweries: Mikkeller, Amager Bryghus, ÅBEN, Too Old To Die Young, Small Batch Bornholm, Beer Here, Penyllan, Svaneke Bryghus, OY Brewing, Anarkist, Too Old TO Die Young and Ebeltoft Gaardbryggeri, among others.
