BeerWalks FAQ

A BeerWalk is a unique combination of an outdoor guided city walk and a craft beer tasting. Together, we walk a scenic route, stop at selected spots (outdoors), taste amazing craft beers, and listen to engaging stories about both the local area and the beers we are tasting.

We meet at the designated starting point, where you will be handed your very own tasting glass. From there, we walk a route of approximately 2.5 to 4 km (1.5 to 2.5 miles). Along the way, we make 6-8 stops outdoors, where the guide shares local stories, and guides us through the tasting. The tour ends at a different location than where we started.

On a classic BeerWalk, we typically taste minimum 6 different craft beers. This corresponds to about 2 to 3 full beers in total, served as tasting pours throughout the tour.

Yes, as long as there are available spots on the specific tour, you can book right up until 1 hour before the tour starts via our online booking system.

We usually walk in cozy groups of between 10 and 25 participants. This size ensures a great social dynamic and plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way.

You can absolutely join the tour by yourself! Our BeerWalks are highly social experiences (a true “walk ‘n’ talk”), and you will easily find yourself chatting with the other beer-loving participants along the route.

No, It is not allowed to bring your own drinks.

No, Christoffer is, the walking and story-telling and beer-passionate former banker (54 years old).

It’s an Limited Liability Company, but with 1 owner and thus you support local and small businesses when you choose an experience with stories and beer at BeerWalks.

No one, it’s an outdoor experience, we bring everything we need; stories, glasses and the tastings – however toilet stops will of course be indoors.

They are all lovely adults who are all interested in telling a good story and who have a passion for beer and people, and the city they live in.

We have school teachers, marketing people, beer sommeliers and hand brewers, who are passionate about showing off their city, accompanied by stories and delicious Danish craft beer.

A BeerWalk is for anyone who loves great experiences in the great outdoors! You absolutely do not need to be a beer expert to join us. Our tours are the perfect match for everything from a festive bachelor/bachelorette party (polterabend) or the annual club trip (bødekassetur), to a professional corporate event or an active teambuildingsession with your colleagues. We are also highly popular among couples, groups of friends, and solo travelers looking to meet new people. As long as you are at least 18 years old, enjoy good stories, great company, and fresh air – and want to taste some amazing craft beer – a BeerWalk is definitely for you.

Danish, if all participants are from Denmark or understand Danish – otherwise English, but questions along the way can be asked in Danish or English.

We guarantee good stories that relate to the places we stop on our BeerWalk, we are outdoors all the time, but don’t expect a definite sightseeing tour, more a good Walk N Talk with funny stories and delicious beer to be tasted along the way.

No, the weather is part of the experience, dress according to the weather conditions on the day and meet or turn up and get ready for some cozy  hours (Danish Hygge) with good stories and good beer.

If we have to cancel a BeerWalk, you will be refunded in full or can choose a gift card.

If you cancel before 24 hours before your BeerWalk, you will receive a gift card instead.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your BeerWalk, you can participate in another, same day BeerWalk, if rebooking is possible, a rebooking fee of DKK 100,00 per person is applied.

If you take out cancellation insurance when buying a ticket, you can cancel up to 2 hours before the scheduled start of your BeerWalk and get a full refund (minus fees) or choose a gift card.

For privately booked BeerWalks, the cancellation conditions are as follows:
Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 2 weeks before the event is held.

If canceled between 1 and 2 weeks before the event is held, 50% will be invoiced.

If canceled from 1 week before the event is held, 100% will be invoiced.

18 years if you want to participate in the beer tastings, otherwise no age limit.

Yes, it is used in a big way and we have carried out private/company BeerWalks from 2 to 600 participants.

We tailor the experience to your plans for the day: start location, end location, walking distance, time, number of tastings, alternatives to beer etc. full flexibility.

The BeerWalks are usually between 2,5-4 km long and they are at a pace where everyone can join in, we take it easy and relaxed.
