Experience the Wonder of Christmas in Aarhus
Duration: 2.5 Hours
Join us on a very special BeerWalk, namely our Christmas BeerWalk!
Hear about the history of Christmas beer, anecdotes about Aarhus and taste Christmas beer from Mikkeller, ÅBEN, Ebeltoft Gaardbryggeri and Amager Bryghus – all outdoors (let’s hope for a good Christmas) and dress for the weather.
We’re mixing it up a bit, so there will be beer on the trip that isn’t Christmas beer, we just have to rinse the palate in between.
You can look forward to an approximately 3-4 kilometer walk in all weathers, with 6-7 stops along the way and a minimum of 6 beer tastings, all outdoors.
It’s fun, educational and really cozy and Aarhus is best explored on foot with beer tastings from Danish breweries and lots of stories.

6 Danish craft beer tastings (approx. 2.5-3 beers) and stories from the following breweries:
- Mikkeller
- OPEN Brewery
- Ebeltoft Farm Brewery
- Amager Brewery
You will also hear stories about the area we are walking in and you can keep the tasting glass as a souvenir of your BeerWalk.
The BeerWalk route
- Bro Cafeen, Frederiks Allé 61A (meeting place, outside)
- Aarhus (various stops, outdoors)
- Mikkeller Bar, Jægersborggade (end point, outside)
Important to know
- Max 20 participants
- Guide language is either Danish or English
- Dress for the weather, we are outdoors for the entire tour
- You may not bring your own beer or other types of spirits
- The trip is not suitable for people with walking difficulties
- If there are fewer than 7 people registered, we reserve the right to cancel/rebook
- You must be 18 or older to participate
