Join us for a cozy guided walking tour complete with beer tastings, taking you from Vesterbro through the historic inner city and back to the vibrant setting of the Meatpacking District. A knowledgeable local guide will lead you through the city’s architecture and hidden gems while sharing selected anecdotes about Copenhagen’s history and evolution.

The tour combines historical storytelling and social atmosphere with outdoor stops. Along the way, we will sample six selected craft beers from the Mikkeller, Amager Bryghus, and ÅBEN breweries, and you get to keep your tasting glass as a souvenir.

This includes 5 tastings over 1 hour, running from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Bjarke Bundgaard is one of Denmark’s prominent beer communicators and historians, with many years of experience from Carlsberg and Husbryggeriet Jacobsen. He specializes in beer history, brewing, tasting, and the art of pairing beer with food.

Among other credentials, Bjarke has taught aspiring sommeliers, waiters, and hospitality professionals about beer, the brewing process, and sensory evaluation. Over the years, he has delivered numerous lectures and led countless beer tastings. He is also the co-author of the book Det Gode Øl (“The Good Beer”) and received the Danish Beer Award (Den Danske Ølpris) in 2015 for his work in promoting the gastronomic potential of beer.

He is known for combining solid expertise with beer history, engaging anecdotes, and a lively presentation style, possessing unique insight into Carlsberg and the history of Danish beer.
